Elementary at SVCA is grades 1 through 6. The elementary classrooms consist of traditional instruction using the ABeka curriculum. The individual subjects include: reading/phonics, math, science, history, English/literature, cursive writing, health, music, art, and Bible. Additionally, the students have chapel at designated times throughout the school year.

In grades 1 and 2, there is a continued emphasis on reading using the phonics technique. In third grade, the emphasis moves into reading comprehension.

All elementary students have physical education three times per week and have music once per week. During the third grade year, the students are introduced to flutophones (A pre-band instrument) during music class. For fifth and sixth grades, band is offered as an elective. Students in grades 2 through 6 also have art once a week.

Annually students compete in various local and ACSI competitions such as spelling bees, creative writing competitions, and musical competitions.
