SVCA offers both before school and after school child care through our Extended Care Program for students enrolled in K4 through tenth grades. Extended Care is staffed by either teachers or teacher's assistants. Before Care is available beginning at 6:30 a.m. in the Cafeteria and After Care is available in the K4 Classroom until 6:00 p.m.
Before Care students will be escorted to the gymnasium at 7:45 a.m. Students scheduled to be in After Care will be sent there when school is dismissed. In addition, students that remain on campus more than 15 minutes after school dismissal will be sent to After Care, unless the student is involved in a SVCA-sponsored extracurricular activity. Charges for Extended Care are based on the number of sessions used each week.
In the event that school opens late or closes early due to adverse weather or any other emergency, the Extended Care program will not operate.
