SVCA believes quality instruction is communicating God-based truth in all teaching disciplines in a way that is comprehendible, logical in learning sequence, and renumberable in the minds of our students.

In each discipline, students are taught that God is at the center of all that life encompasses - He is the creator of the universe and the author of all history. With this base of knowledge, SVCA students are encouraged to critically think from a biblical Christian worldview. This is reinforced daily, as each student is required to attain one Bible credit for each year they attend SVCA.

Testing scores each year show the strength of the academic program at SVCA. For the elementary students, Stanford 10 Achievement test results show that the students are, in many cases, two years ahead of secular educational institutions. The structure of the Upper school curriculum reliably produces the ACT standardized test results that show SVCA students in the upper sixtieth percentile. The English classes produce many students above 600 in the SAT.

Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy's graduating seniors are accepted in private and public colleges and universities throughout the country, with 95 percent of SVCA graduates continuing their education in post-secondary education.
