Welcome to Parents in Action, a parent-run organization of SVCA whose purpose is to support SVCA and its teachers by improving the scholastic environment.  This is accomplished through two major fundraisers each year -- the Thanksgiving Luncheon and the Annual Auction.  In addition, the PIA oversees the corporate education programs such as Box Tops, Campbell's Soup Labels, Food Lion, Martins, and others, as well as matching fund from Corporate Sponsors.  Other equally important activities include Teacher's Appreciate Day, Easter Egg Hunt, and other events as they come up.

The proceeds from these activities enable the PIA to complete projects such as fencing in the playground, purchasing classroom TVs for educational purposes, renovating the gym locker rooms, improving the campus security system as well as Christmas bonuses for the teachers.
